2017 International Conference

Protecting Yourself and Your Students from Copyright Infringement

2018 Southwest/Midwest Regional Conference

I co-presented with Dr. Rentz and two other colleagues at the regional conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. This presentation was adapted from the Copyright eManual I had worked on with a team for an earlier project. The interest was such that we found it useful to share with other bcomm teachers who are likely to face copyright compliance issues from their students and potentially their own use of borrowed materials. I presented the section about the Creative Commons.

Managing a Successful Client-Based Project: The Student's Perspective

2018 International Conference

I traveled to Miami, Florida to present a presentation about experiential learning with a partner at ABC's 83rd Annual International Conference. Included here is our proposal outlining the challenges that we encountered in our own client-based projects along with tips for making them successful for all parties involved - teachers, students, and clients.
